Recently, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology announced the list of third batch Zhejiang Provincial Outstanding Engineer Practice Bases. Kaihua Moulds was successfully selected and is the only manufacturing enterprise in Taizhou City to be included in this provincial level recognition.

The Zhejiang Provincial Precision Mold and Forming Technology Outstanding Engineer Practice Base established by Kaihua is positioned to serve key high end manufacturing industries. The base focuses on enhancing engineers practical capabilities and building an integrated platform that connects industrial needs with talent development. It is designed to support the long term advancement of advanced manufacturing and high precision injection mold technologies.

Kaihua began exploring systematic engineer training models as early as 2010. The core platform for this effort is the Kaihua Mould Industry Institute, which plays a central role in the company’s industry talent integration strategy. The practice base is supported by several high level innovation platforms, including the Provincial Li Guo Skill Master Studio, the Provincial Enterprise Research Institute, and the Taizhou Branch of the National Engineering Research Center, forming a comprehensive framework for engineering education and applied research.

In terms of infrastructure and hands on training capacity, Kaihua has established more than 2,000 square meters of theoretical teaching facilities, a 5,000 square meter practical training center, and a 10,000 square meter application validation base. Through a practice oriented curriculum system built on a four dimensional integrated framework driving five categories of learning modules, Kaihua has developed a panoramic and project based training model that spans from mold design and manufacturing to downstream applications. This model provides a solid foundation for cultivating engineering professionals with both strong theoretical knowledge and extensive practical experience in plastic injection mold and forming technologies.
