China machinery industry science and Technology Award
“China machinery industry science and Technology Award” is a national comprehensive science and Technology Award for machinery industry jointly established by China Machinery Industry Federation and China Society of mechanical engineering and approved by the Ministry of science and technology. It is the only award approved by the state in the machinery industry in China.
The scope of reward is the scientific and technological achievements with practical value produced by the basic theory, invention and creation in the field of machinery industry and the research, development, test, promotion and application to improve the level of productivity.

The research and development of “energy-saving automobile micro foaming forming die technology” breaks through the heavy products of more than 8kg, which is the achievement of the industrial foundation project of the Ministry of industry and information technology. The technology has the function of strengthening forming materials and achieving lightweight effect, especially the mature application of a series of core technologies of large precision forming dies such as appearance parts. After certification, the technical level has reached the domestic first-class and international advanced level.
The main technological innovations include 13 innovative technologies, such as micro foaming core pulling demoulding technology, micro foaming exhaust cooling technology, micro foaming mold slider strong positioning technology, application technology of micro foaming technology in appearance parts, two-color single cavity technology and chemical foaming technology. Form and promote the common technology of micro foaming product forming die, feed back domestic automobile manufacturers, establish an energy-saving automobile micro foaming integrated large-scale precision equipment and advanced manufacturing technology design and management system, and solve the technical difficulty of lightweight forming “neck” of large-scale precision automobile parts.
Boost the high-quality development of injection mold industry
Since 2018, Kaihua mold has provided large-scale precision automobile micro foam injection molds for domestic and foreign markets. The products have been widely promoted and accurately matched for well-known automobile enterprises at home and abroad such as BMW, Mercedes Benz, Porsche, Ford, great wall and Geely, promoting the formation of an output value of related products (automobile injection parts) of nearly 100 billion yuan.
In recent three years, Kaihua’s micro foaming automobile injection mold has an international market share of 23% and a domestic market share of 70%. Meanwhile, the technology has obtained 18 patents, including 7 invention patents. In addition, Kaihua mold took the lead in formulating the industry standard micro foaming automobile interior injection mold, which improved the intelligent level of automobile injection mold industry.
